Description

The Eichholz Law Firm in Savannah, GA is seeking an Associate Attorney to become a member of its team. A successful Associate Attorney must demonstrate genuine empathy for injured clients and a passion for advocating for their rights. Possesses strong analytical and research skills to effectively evaluate cases, identify legal issues, and develop winning strategies. Excels in written and verbal communication, clearly explaining complex legal matters to clients, providers, adjusters, opposing counsel and colleagues. Demonstrate strong legal reasoning and case management skills to develop and execute long-term case plans, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and ensuring data accuracy and adherence to procedures.

This role is a stepping-stone to leadership positions within the firm. We have a strong track record of promoting within.

Job Requirements

  • An active member in good standing with the Georgia State Bar Association
  • Builds strong working relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience and comfort, with technology, and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in multitasking and teamwork while maintaining initiative.
  • Fundamental knowledge of case, statutory, regulatory, and common law
  • Fundamental knowledge of judicial procedures and the rules of evidence
  • Fundamental knowledge of medical record reviews to evaluate the client’s injuries.
  • Fundamental knowledge in litigation, including drafting pleadings & motions, conducting discovery, depositions & mediations, and developing case strategies/trial preparation.
  • Skilled legal analyst: Combines abilities to interpret legal documents, analyze evidence, and form clear arguments.
  • Compelling communicator: Emphasizes strong oral and written communication for arguments and presentations.

Experience

  • 2 or more years' experience in Georgia Civil Litigation
  • Georgia Bar License

SCHEDULE

  • Monday through Friday; 8:30a to 5:30p

WORK LOCATION

  • In person* – Savannah, GA**

*This role requires initial in-person work to establish strong relationships and teamwork. We are committed to exploring long-term flexibility options that support employee well-being and continued success.

**This role is ideally suited for a local candidate, but we are willing to discuss relocation assistance for a highly qualified candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
